U2417H - dead pixel

Hello.
Recently I bought a Dell u2417h. A month later, found was a dead pixel purple hue
In support of the Russian said he is not "Bright sub-pixel" and will not be replaced
How do I distinguish between "Bright sub-pixel" or "Dark sub-pixel"?

I do not understand the confusion? Per the article that you linked =

Bright Sub-Pixel Defects: A sub-pixel remains permanently lit, resulting in a white or colored dot on a black background.

Dark Sub-Pixel Defects: A sub-pixel remains permanently unlit, resulting in a black or colored dot on a white background.

Based on your picture, that is a red stuck pixel on a white background which equals, Dark Sub-Pixel Defect.

You can try to exercise the pixel in the hope that it may unstick.
