U2713H Multiple Inputs
I like to use my U2713H with multiple PC's, one is connected via DP, the other is connected via DVI. When switching the inputs via the OSD, the other (not selected) input is switched off. This leads to loosing the window positioning on the screen and makes the input switching completely useless to me. Is this the intended behavior? Is there a fix?
BTW: Interestingly enabling and the again disabling side-by-side PIP mode leaves the other (not selected) input on.

* Yes. That is normal.
Interestingly enabling and the again disabling side-by-side PIP mode leaves the other (not selected) input on.
* Interesting. But disabling PIP is not the same as switching inputs. Those are different OSD (On Screen Display) functions.

Thanks for the reply.
Is there any currently sold Dell Monitor >= 24" which supports the use of at least two inputs without disabling "the input(s) not on display"?
The argument about PIP was not intended to mean PIP and input switching are the same.
The intent is to highlight: There is at least one state in which the monitor enables two inputs, without diplaying the second input. (After having PIP activated briefly and then turned off again, the 2nd input is still active). This leads me to think that this is probably not a hardware limitation but a firmware limitation, which could be addressed.

Dell has never offered a monitor that acts the way you want. A firmware update is a very expensive process for Dell. These only occur to correct systemic issues reported by hundreds of users.
