U2715H, vertical green lines
Hi Folks, I was using this monitor for long years. It was built in in September/2014. Recently it developed a strange issue. On a fresh - I would say cold - start small green lines appeared on the whole screen. First it went away in a few minutes, then it took 10 minutes - I thought it is something warming up inside, now it is kind of permanent.
Source or resolution does not matter - I was try HDMI and DVI, Apple laptop and Windows.
Actually it does show the issue even with no source.

Its like 6+ years old and definitely needs a service, I am just curious if this is some typical issue and whether it worth to repair at all?

Dell does not have monitor repair service. Dell does not repair monitors, sell monitor internal components, or have monitor disassembly documentation. Once outside of the purchased warranty period, you would have to seek a local Monitor/TV repair center to see if they can disassemble the monitor and diagnose the defective internal component. Then look for the internal component on 3rd party sites. Note, the cost of diagnosis and repair might outweigh the current used market value of the monitor.
