U2719D, severe backlight bleeding, #3
Hey,
I have an identical model with what appears to be identical backlight bleed patterns. Have dimmed the lights in this shot but would love if other U2719D owners could report if they have the same issue. As OP said, I know these panels tend to suffer from backlight bleed as an inherent design flaw, but this amount does impact my quality of work given the purpose of this device (accurate colour reproduction).

I bought the same U2719D monitor after I dropped the old U2715H that I've been using for a few years. I was disappointed with this strong backlight, but also in the refresh rate I noticed a deterioration (in the game). Maybe it will be the panel difference from IPS (LG) to the new PLS (Samsung)? I don't know, but the impression that over the years the quality has not improved for this line of models.
