Dell does not test either in the lab. You will simply need to test it.
The online Chromecast Hardware and broadband requirements states =
"All Chromecast devices require a TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 or higher built-in. HDCP 2.2 is required to support 4K content."
The online U2723QE User's Guide states =
HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2)
