U2724DE, Latitude 5550, peripherals not working
Latitude 5531
I have a U2724DE that recently started having a strange issue. The Thunderbolt connection is working fine and when connecting to a laptop, there is charging and video connection. The problem is that when connected to a laptop, the other USB ports and ethernet port are not functional. I've attempted power cycling, the firmware and drivers are currently up to date. The Latitude 5550 that it is connected to is also currently up to date. I'm hitting a wall on troubleshooting this issue.

Confused. Are you saying that you have both the Latitude 5531 and Latitude 5550 connected to the U2724DE?
If yes, this is how you could connect them =
Wall power outlet AC power connected to Latitude 5531 left side rear TB4 port
Latitude 5531 left side middle TB4 port --> U2724DE TB4 to TB4 cable --> U2724DE #7 TB4 upstream port
Wall power outlet AC power connected to Latitude 5550 left side rear TB4 port
Latitude 5550 right side HDMI port --> retail HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2724DE #3 HDMI port
Latitude 5550 right side USB-A port --> U2724DE USB-A to USB-C cable --> U2724DE #8 USB-C upstream port

@DELL-Chris M No, it is only the Latitude 5550 connected via thunderbolt. I posted this from my Latitude 5531 and couldn't remove it when making this.

Ok. Add the USB-A to USB-C cable and retest.
