U2725QE, two Daisy Chain Thunderbolt 4 with Apple MAC Studio M4 Max not working

I have the following setup:

MAC Studio M4 Max with 500GB and 32GB RAM

2x DELL U2725QE
I want to connect this via a daisy chain using Thunderbolt!

Mac to the first display via Thunderbolt upstream

First display via Thunderbolt downstream to the second display via Thunderbolt upstream
Unfortunately, the second display doesn't recognize that anything is connected to the upstream Thunderbolt port!  "No thunderbolt (140W) signal detected from your machine!"

How do I need to connect the displays, adjust the settings, and configure them on the Mac?

I've already searched through Google, reddit and other communities and tried various things, but nothing has worked!

Thank you in advance for your help!

Based on the U2725QE User's Guide page 42, we know that the monitor hardware can do that daisy chain setup.

First U2725QE Menu --> Display --> MST On
Computer TB/USB-C port --> U2725QE TB4 cable --> First U2725QE #7 TB4 upstream port
First U2725QE #6 TB4 downstream port --> U2725QE TB4 cable --> Second U2725QE #7 TB4 upstream port

As to why your Mac Studio M4 Max is not allowing it is unknown. Assuming that you have updated it to the December 12 macOS Tahoe 26.2 release? You should also post the issue on the Apple Forum to get their troubleshooting advice.
