U3014 Dark areas

I received my U3014 two days ago from Redcoon.pt and I just noticed in 2 dark "dirty" spots on it. Is this normal with the U3014?

When I change my view angle (like in the pictures above) all screen seems like a piece of crumbled paper.

I have tried with reds, greens, blues, black and and even white backgrounds to see if there is something to do with colors but result is the same. I also have tried the LCD Conditioning feature from the OSD Menu but with no luck.

I was wondering if this happens to anybody or just me? Does this issue have a specific name and a possible fix or I just need to send it back?

I am attaching a few images hopping that someones point me the way here and hopping that there is no need to send it back because the risk of a worst is eminent.

My revision is Rev- 02 from October 2013 and im using Dual DVI cable on a nvidia Quadro.

One last note: I have also noticed some flickering but only happens sometimes.

Thanks and I will appreciate any thoughts.

We cannot know how many times redcoon.pt sold the monitor, how many previous owners, their usage, and had it returned to them. You should return it to them for refund and buy a monitor directly from Dell Portugal. This way we will be able to fully support it and the Dell monitor warranty you purchase.

That was my first option, buy directly from Dell. Unfortunately im in Europe and Dell support and the online store doesn´t seem to be that good as in US. That´s why I ended up purchasing from 3rd party.

However I was making some research about my issues and I notice that most of the reviews reporting problems with the U3014 are from 2013 specifically with Rev 02 or early.

Could this mean that Dell have fixed this problems with this specific model in newer revisions like REV 03 and newer?

I mean, this is an expensive monitor targeted for specific people. In my case im a designer so i do need some critical color environments and some uniformity on a screen. Im not a freak light bleed guy but i do recognize that i have some cheap TN panels much more "clean" than this one.

I still believe that I have a faulty unit. Right?

All new purchases in the USA are A03. I cannot speak to Europe. I would return it to the reseller. Go here:
