We do not have a U3100? Check the model. We need all the data from the announcement at the top of this Monitor Forum board, ""Read this first before posting".

Sorry U 3011

MSI GTX 580 nvidia driver 353.50

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z68x-UD7-B3

I have tried on all win 7 win 8 and 8.1

Tried all ports on card Dual-link DVI x 2

HDMI x 1

DisplayPort

Tried all cables supplied with monitor.

I have tried all power plans makes no difference.

Resolution 2560x1600

Now I'm using my old benq monitor and it works perfectly. As  I need this computer for my living I'm probably going to have give up on Dell monitors.

Surely a company like Dell must have a fix for this.

U3011, that cleared up the confusion.

* Turn the monitor off
* Unplug the power cord from the monitor
* Press the power button in for 10 seconds
* Plug the power cord back into the monitor
* Turn the monitor on
* Press the Menu button (4th from the top)
* Go to Other Settings
* Choose Factory Reset, Reset All Settings
* While in Other Settings, disable DDC/CI
* Exit the menu and re-test

If still inside the 3 year period based off of the service tag number, Dell will exchange it.

Says service tag is invalid my service tag is svc

I cant auto detect my product as my product does not work and I have to use a different monitor.

It cant be this hard to replace a monitor when dell know there is a problem with it.

You have the service tag what do I do with this monitor?

The tag does not appear in the USA, UK, India, or Australia database. We cannot exchange what does not exist in our tools. From whom was this monitor purchase made?

No. You will send that picture to a Care representative. First, because the tag is not in any Dell database, you need to contact the ebay seller. We need from him the original Dell order number he received when buying the monitor from us. We will then look up said Dell order number to see when and where it shipped.

No, Nothing can be done from our end until you get the sellers data. We need from him the original Dell order number he received when buying the monitor from us. We will then look up said Dell order number to see when and where it shipped.
