U3415W - "3D" effect on edges?
Hello I just purchased a U3415W through an authorized retailer. When sitting about 2 feet away from the monitor, I notice a slight "3d effect" on the edge of the screen. The backlight seems to be offset of the lcd. Attached below is an example. Pay attention to the scroll bar. This is my first curved monitor and I am not quite sure if this is normal.

I also noticed this. What makes you say that it's normal? I wonder if the LG 34UC97 also exhibits this?

because it's an curve image . I have this monitor and i have the same effect

I too noticed this almost immediately when my u3415w arrived. I don't notice it when sitting about 2ft from the monitor, but any closer and colours look off and the 3D "effect" can be quite distracting. Overall I really like this monitor, I just wonder this is common on all curved monitors or just the u3415w
