Hello,
I just bought a U3415w and although i like the screen, i work, play, a lot in a night / dark room.
I got a problem with backlight stuff.

What to do? Return it?

* Our manufacturer do not test/validate our monitors in a dark room. They test/validate our monitors in rooms with a minimum of 150 lux which is standard office lighting
* Reset the monitor to Factory Defaults in the monitor OSD (On Screen Display)
* In standard office lighting, run the monitor BID (Built-in Diagnostic)
* Take pictures of the colored screens and post them
