U3421WE, M2B103, USB Type-C bug with DDM
Hi Dell Team,
Hardware / setup:
Intel NUC i3 8109U
Win 10 Pro Build 19042
DDM (Dell Display Manager) 1.54.0.2068
After receiving my new monitor and updating the firmware to M2B103, I am now unable to switch to USB Type-C input via DDM. If I switch to just HDMI and/or DisplayPort it continues to work using the hotkeys. However, whenever USB Type-C is selected, it will not switch between any of the input. Not sure if software bug or issue with recent firmware. Am unable to acquire or find instructions to downgrade the U3421WE firmware from M2B103 that I upgraded to from the Dell website to test.
Tested KVM function using direct connect USB keyboard to monitor, still does not work for USB Type-C switching. Only works for HDMI and DP
Downgrading the DDMversioning does not fix the issue. Please advise!
Connection Setup For Clarification:
Intel NUC connected via HDMI to U3421WE
Lenovo Laptop connected via USB Type-C to USB Type-C to U3421WE
DDM installed and configured on Intel NUC.
Multi Device - Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard (connected to Intel NUC on BT1, Lenovo on BT2)
Thank you

AM.Ember

UPDATE - For anyone who comes across this and might be having the same confusing issue.
I fixed my issue with what I believe now to be a bug with the config of DDM.
If you go into PIP/PBP mode and select the 50/50 screen split option, you then get a different set of options within that same input screen:
1.
2.
For Main window #1 and Sub window #2 . If you have the same Sub-window #2 selected as you do for what you're trying to use/set for your "favorite input shortcut key", it seems like the config clashes and will cause the hotkey not to work/register. By changing my sub Window #2 option to an input I wasn't using - then my hotkeys started working.
