U3821DW, MacBook Pro 2018 Big Sur 11.2.3, DDM
HI, are there any known problems from the U3818DW with this new U3821DW? Power delivery and other problems are fixed?
Any news about DDM for macOS? It was supposed to be ready at the beginning of 2021.
I would like to buy this U3821DW, I like Dell design but it's not cheap and I would like to have it fully working with all features.

Is there a Mac version of the Dell Display Manager Software? No. Dell is working closely with our software development teams to have a Mac version of the Dell Display Manager by early 2021.

I do not see any U3821DW threads on the Apple Forum. But that could be because it was just released in January or the price point.
The U3821DW drivers page doesn't show the macOS. That doesn't mean that the macOS would not work. Perhaps the macOS has built-in drivers to support the U3821DW?
I have not seen any internal emails stating that a macOS version of DDM was coming out? From what source did you see this?

Good find. I had forgotten about that statement. As of today I have not seen anything about a macOS DDM.

I’d also like to buy a Dell Ultrawide monitor, but if DDM doesn’t come out for MacOS, I’d rather consider cheaper options. Can you at least confirm that you are working on it, so it can be released within a year?

Lunar doesn't support DDM's "easy arrange tabs" feature which seems very useful.
Any news about DDM for MacOS?

There has never been discussion of a DDM for Linux.
Estimated macOS DDM launch is April 30, 2021.

You answered me above to "see this alternative" and I did. It is about Lunar free app to control Brightness and Contrast settings and not Linux in this case.
And thank you for giving an estimate for macOS DDM launch. Appreciate!
