U4320Q how to lower the stand?
My brand new monitor is still in the box. I can't get it out by myself so I CANNOT get to the service tag to get the number. (Sorry, if I'm being sharp; I was stuck in a circle with the stupid "virtual" not-help.)
I am putting the stand together to make sure I know how it works, and if I need to get some longer cords before putting the beautiful thing together (66-yr-old female who does NOT do weight-lifting!). Read around the community, and tried "brute force" to get the stand's monitor back to go down. It goes down (and I can I hear the spring), but it does not STAY down -- there is no switch or button or anything I can find to lock it at the lowest adjustment.
How do I get it to stick in the position I want, or does it need to have the monitor ON the stand for it to work/stay? Thanks!

Here is the online U4320Q User's Guide. There are no locking switch or buttons for stand movement.
Before you attach the Stand base and Stand riser to the rear of the panel, take a picture of the rear bottom #4 label which has the private Service Tag. Save that picture for future use =
Attach the Stand base and Stand riser to the rear of the panel =
You then place the U4320Q upright on the table. Move the panel up and down on the Stand riser, then let go. It should stay where you left it =
