U4919DW, KVM, PBP, usage, #2

@jphughan ,

So, if I understand your reply correctly...

If I connect two separate PC's/Laptops to this monitor, each PC/Laptop goes to its own port on the monitor and each has it's own keyboard and mouse, I would be able to work with both PC's/Laptops and the monitor would appear as though I had two 27" monitors, side by side.

Is that correct?

Thanks.

@Green0316  If you have two different PCs each connected to a separate video input on the U4919DW, and each source PC has its own keyboard and mouse connected to it through some means other than the USB ports built into the U4919DW, and then you put the U4919DW into PBP mode, then each individual PC will think it is connected to its own 2560x1440 display.  And on the U4919DW itself, you'll see those displays presented side-by-side, and each of those "tiles" will have a size equivalent to a 27" display.

Excellent!  That's what I needed to know.

Thanks!
