Unlock Function Buttons on SP2009W

Anyone have instructions to unlock the monitor control buttons on from front right side of SP2009W monitor? If I touch the first touch button above the Power button, I see a lock symbol on the screen and unable to find any button combo to release the lock. My fundamental problem is the the visible area is skewed to right no matter what resolution settings I try to use in PC video settings. Can't find users guide/ manual online so forum response may be my only shot at resolution.   Thanks
