UP2414Q issues
I'm running on dual GTX970 SLI and since day 1 (about a week now since I bought monitor) I've been having issues.
1. Monitor rarely resumes after long time of being turned off (more than 3h), I don't shutdown my PC and monitor almost never comes up after I turn it on. Waking actions on PC do not help. I end up rebooting PC altogether.
2. Dell monitor manager sometimes stops recognizing monitor. Says Please connect Dell supported monitor...
3. Today new issue arose: I was woking ok, then monitor just blacked out. No display signal it says. And again, I had to reboot it.
Are there any solutions to these?
PS. Shame on Dell for not putting DP-DP cable into the box of 4k monitor. It's the only cable that is suitable and it's not in the box. Had to buy it. Shame!

The online User's Guide page 6 stated what cabling we shipped. What revision is this, A00, etc.? Test this, using the same DP setup, plug one end of an HDMI cable into the UP2414Q HDMI in port. The other end of the HDMI cable is NOT plugged into the video card, just left hanging, disconnected. Other users have reported that by doing this, the monitor no longer has power save mode issues.

If set to DP 1.2, mDP will do 3840x2160 60Hz. Are you saying you switched to DP 1.2 in the OSD (On Screen Display) while testing the Dell supplied mDP to DP cable and could not?

I couldn't switch to 1.2 mode with mini-DP cable in the monitor, option is only available when full DP cable inserted in monitor.

Page 6 states you supply DP-miniDP and USB cables. To run 4k at 60Hz you have to use DP-DP cable. Supplied miniDP-DP only does 30, which is very low for the eye. So the only cable that is truly needed for 4k display isn't there...
As for your recommendations, I'll try.

That does not make sense. The User's Guide states, "To display 3840x2160 at 60Hz, DP1.2 must be enabled and the DP source’s graphics card must be DP1.2 certified with MST feature, capable of supporting resolution up to 3840x2160 at 60Hz and its driver supports DisplayID v1.3.".
If we dissect that, "and the DP source’s graphics card" means full size DP out of the video card which would fit using the Dell supplied DP to mDP cable into the UP2414Q mDP in. Perhaps our cable was defective.

Today I started monitor and it said: Display driver stopped working and was restored. All icons on desktop are moved to 1920*1080 position.
