UP3216Q, backlight dead spot?

I have a UP3216Q that I received earlier as a replacement for a different Dell monitor (a U3014). There seems to be something I presume to be a dead back-light spot: a group of darkened pixels (when viewed on a white background) that “moves” depending on viewing angle. Parallax suggests it is at least 2 mm under the surface of the screen. I am unable to find the service tag of this monitor using the Dell service tag search tool in Find & add products. Am I correct to assume that nothing can be done about this issue? In the photos below, the spot is next to the arrow pointer. Photos were taken from different angles and you can see the spot moving. Sadly the photos do not quite illustrate how noticeable it is.

What was the originally purchased U3014 warranty period?

The UP3216Q back label should have the tag, code, and S/N?

That is a single Dark or Dead Sub-Pixel defect. The monitor would have to show 6 or more Dark pixel defects to justify an exchange.

I had no time to deal with this earlier. The monitor was my 2nd warranty replacement, and the warranty period seemed over at the time anyway.

It is most definitely not a single dead pixel, it is an issue with the backlight since there is a noticeable parallax effect: the spot moves relative to the display image if you look at it at different angles, and it occupies noticeable space (about 6-8 pixels at the very least; this is a 4K panel).

My question is, is it possible to have the backlight panel replaced somehow? Out of warranty, as a paid service. My region is EMEA.

* Not through Dell. We have never repaired monitors. See this
