Upgrading to a LCD...

I currently have a Dimension 4700, and it came with a 17" CRT monitor, and im interested in upgrading to the E228WFP Wide 22 inch Flat Panel Monitor.

would i be able to do that without changing my current video card and what not?

Should not be an issue, but asking us about the new monitor and asking us about whether it will work with your video card, you should have included the model of the video card as well    :smileyvery-happy:

X300 should work with the 22 incher, but if you are going to play games at the native resolutions with the eye candy up high as well, your best bet is to find another card, since the x300 is low ended for most games.    The monitor should come with both a blue analog cable and a dvi ( digital ) cable.  If your video card only has the blue input, than you can only use the analog cable.  If your video card has both the blue analog and the white colored dvi input, than many of us prefer the digital over analog for a sharper picture.  Some see this and others may not, depending on your own eyes.
