Using DUCCS created profiles with Windows 7

I’m new to using a hardware calibrated monitor but have used software calibration for many years.

When using an i1Display Pro colorimeter with the Dell UltraSharp Color Calibration Solution software a profile is created for each calibration/profiling. For Cal1/Cal2 on 2 monitors that results in 4 profiles being created - 2 for Cal1 (left/right)  and 2 for Cal2 (left/right).

Should both profiles remain in Windows ‘Color Management’ (colorcpl.exe) and associated with it’s related L/R monitor? Should one or the other be set as the 'default'?

If I change from Cal1 (Native wide-gamut) to Cal2 (sRGB)? will a color managed application such as Photoshop know to use the appropriate profile? Or is this not important with a hardware LUT?

Is it OK to use the Dell Display Manager software the change from Cal1 to Cal 2?

I did read the FAQ's and have not found a previous answer to these questions.

Thanks :-)

Duh --- of course one needs to still use the profiles. What I do need to remember if/when I change between Cal1 and Cal2  (Native Wide Gamut and sRGB)  is to also set the appropriate profile as the 'Default' in Windows Color Management. For now I'm leaving things in Native to see how it affects my day-to-day computing. The color overall looks surprisingly good.
