Video Problem Low Color Quality

I have Dimension 8200 and system went blue screen and restored,  When it came back up I cannot get it off 4 bit color quality and screen resolution is locked up at 800X600.  Will  not let me change.  If anyone can help please advise.

You must have lost your video driver.  Try going to the Video forum, there is a FAQ at the yellow section top of the first page that details how to install it.  You should download the newest Nvidia or Radeon driver depending on which videocard you have.
