viewing 17" ultrasharp in vertical position??

Am I missing something here??  How do you view it vertically?  I can set the OSD to display vertically, but how do flip the actual displayed image?  I have spent over two hours on the phone with tech support and they were absolutely no help.  The correct driver is installed and I am only using the digital cable.  Thanks for your help.

1996cc,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

It is a key combination that flips the display once you have the portait drivers from the video card manufacturer installed. Maybe try pressing the letter "v" on the keyboard or Alt - V.

Shouldn't that driver be installed already when you buy the computer and monitor through Dell?  If it's not, how do I get it?

If your computer came with a discrete video card then the settings in your video card control panel will allow you to rotate your desktop image to portrait/landscape.   If you have an integrated graphics card then you will need to venture out and find some 3rd party software to rotate your screen.

There may be a hot key to rotate the monitor but I also am not sure what it is off hand.  It is possible that this is a hot key you need to set first before this feature is available.
