I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that all 2001FPs came with a standard 3 year warranty, is that not correct? If it is not, then I totaly understand.
Ok, makes sense now. Stinks for me, because I remember that mine was under warranty and even had the piece of paper 2 years ago, but no idea where it is now. I have contacted eBay to try to find the persons name, but they are no longer registered there and I haven't heard back from eBay in almost a week, so I am not holding my breath. Thanks for the clarification.

We must have the original Dell order number to confirm they bought a warranty.

Resellers buy pallets of monitors with no warranty. That is why we need the Dell order number.
