U2312HM monitor is built with 4 USB ports that can be used for your 'USB peripherals' (Highlighted in red in the reference image below).
The fifth 'USB port' is an 'Upstream USB port' that connects the other 4 USB ports to the computer to ensure their functionality. (Highlighted in green color in the image below).

If I take down the brightness a bit will it result in less accurate colors or less sharp, vibrant colors as well?
