Can anyone tell me what is the USB cable for the 2001fp monitor. I noticed other monitor don't have one connect to the computer. Do I have to plug it in?

If you look here you will see a total of four (4) USB ports on the monitor. In order for these ports to become usable, you must connect the USB cord to your computer and the "Upsteam" jack on the monitor.

The monitor acts as a non-powered USB hub.  You can connect the cable as desribed in the post above and have convenient access to USB ports on your desktop in lieu of having to connect things to the tower on the floor.

It is actually a self powered hub. Power provided by the monitor power when switched on. If switched off the USB are dead. Use them only for game devices, USB drives, camara downloads tec, but not keyboards or mice.
