2007 has both analog, and digital connection. Analog used to be second rate, but today, the viewing experience has improved, and some have not noticed a difference, but others have. Most, but not all monitors today have both, unless you get the lower ended monitors that has only one analog connector. Anyway, you might want to go with this double connection since someday you might get a system and video card with both connectionors, than where will you be with the opposite, and only have analog, not digital. :smileyvery-happy:
Banding, as you can read, has been fixed on some but others are still getting this banding in the Vertical. You loose two Modes, and can only really use one Mode ( Desktop ). Some have had problems with the monitors imput connections as well. Up to you.
