client configurations in NSR server

Hi Friends

I have to start configure all the schedule, group and 300 client configuration information from Production server to the DR Server which i have built recently.

Which is the way to smoothly copy all these relevant information to another NSR server.

I tried copy of /nsr/res folder, but it created all unnecessary copy of license information overlapping etc.

thanks

My understanding was that if you brought up the DR server whilst the prod server was up & NW detected the same server registration across the network it would disable your prod server. Is this correct?

If it is a DR site, why don't you just create the Nw server using the DR process? For DR purposes, this is the way this should be done.

You need to use mmrecov with your last bootstrap backup to do a DR. It will recover the licensing information but usually this is not "unnecessary".

What process are you following exactly? You can either copy /nsr/res on new server and then install NW server OR after installing NW server...stop services...delete res...copy the production site res. That should be OK.

Thanks all for your inputs.
I will follow it up for DR procedures.

I guess that's because you merged source and target instead of replacing target with source.
