How to backup SQL and non SQL data on a server with NetWorker

Using NetWorker 7.2 with SQL module installed. We know we need 2 client definitions, 1 using saveset MSSQL: with backup command nsrsqlsv. If we want everything else apart from the SQL dbs backed up should the second definition include a save set All and is a Directive required to exclude the SQL data because otherwise you get savegroup completion messages about SQL files on the server that "could not be opened and was not backed up"?

If you dont want networker to log messages due to open database files, create a directicve to skip SQL database directory or database files and apply to All saveset client.

That's exactly the way we use. We are using the same procedure for Exchange and Oracle. Works fine.

That is the way it is done.

You need to have a client resoruce for Online Savesets & bckup command and another one for floders to be backed up and use directive there.

Is there anything else you wanted to confirm?
