Check with support - I believe there have been plans to support this - not sure if existing version will need to be used or "on request" version exists.

Customer can work with database - what's the problem there? They just can't have RMAN backup via EMC module. Customers should have in mind such things before building environment - key thing in building up environment is to have project management check all relevant components.

If you use logic you will see there is plenty of other workarounds like rman to disk and that file system backup of that, etc.

yes, i have checked with support, and yes, they have plans - NMO 5. It's planed for 1st quarter 2007.
So do i have to tell my customer now, not to work with this database till this date?
