just clarify me, 7.3SP4 means 7.3.4 version and 7.4SP4 means 7.4.4 version --> Is this right
Yes.
Need your help, if you forward some link on the exact patches / rpms need to apply for NetWorker 7.4.4 in the production version so that for another 2 years, the platforms can be stable without further upgrade and support issues.
I'm not aware of patches, but you can find some recommendations in docs. Just verify those are in place. (document is called Networker Technical Guidance for Upgrades to EMC NetWorker 7.4 Service Pack 4 Technical Note).
1. I plan to Upgrade of the existing "Version: NetWorker nw_7_3_2_jumbo.Build.399 Power Edition" to NetWorker latest version
Good for you
2. which is the stable version
7.3SP4 and 7.4SP4. Since 7.3.x is EOL by the end of next month I guess you would go to 7.4SP4.
3. what are the easier migration path/plan on all our Production environments.
Simply do update and you should be fine. When going from 7.3.x to 7.4.x you do not require anything special - everything that had to be set in 7.3.x have to be there for 7.4.x too. There is in docs area guide for upgrades (which covers 7.2.x -> 7.3.x and higher) so you may wish to read that one just to double check...
Thanks to you just clarify me, 7.3SP4 means 7.3.4 version and 7.4SP4 means 7.4.4 version --> Is this right
My networker server is Redhat Enterprise linux 4 only, and not windows.
