VM Restore over SAN and VDDK access error

Hi Folks

Details

win2k8r2

Networker 7.6.3.7

Restoring from FULL backup

backup to DD670

Trying VM restore over san.

Proxy host is physical host.

Remote access has user defined as system@SN/proxy name and networker servicename@SN/proxy name

Currently restoring over nbd to see if that work.

Unable to open handle to virtual disk. Error: The following internal error occurred: An error was returned from nsrvddk.exe: Error opening disk, [VSI-FC] srvname/srvname.vmdk: VDDK Error: You do not have access rights to this file.

Any idea what permission issue is this exactly? have checked other forums..none have solutions

Thanks in advance

nbd restore successful but the networker adapter labels were blank and need to manually select/configure(is this norm?)

probably this..will check next time and see

Note: If recovery is initiated from a Windows machine other than the proxy, these steps need to be performed on the machine where the recovery is initiated.
