We are looking at purchasing a 5224 and two 3348 switches, nothing huge. I figured to use the 5224 for the servers, four of them (two using 1000MB and two 100MB). One 3348 would be dedicated to the main office (25 connections required, PC's and printers). The other is for a future remote office openning in the next two months that would connect back to our main office via SDSL. The main office 3348 would link to the 5224 via gigabit copper or fibre, not sure which to use.

Could someone give me and idea of what the best setup for this environment would be...

1. Should I just link the main office 3348 to the 5224 with a CAT5e/CAT6 cable using the gigabit ports or use fibre?
2. Also, what type setup should I use on the 3348, someone mentioned trunking to me but I am not sure on this advice?
