Broadcast problems with Powerconnect 5448
Hello i have an old 5448 Powerconnect switch its seems to have problems with Broadcast Streams. when i start a stream the stream is lagging. Switch is completly default. On another switch powerconnect 6224 the stream runs smoothly.
any ideas what to configure on the 5448?

I would start with making sure the 5448 is up to date on firmware and everything, as well as verify the configuration is the same as the non lagging one. Now we are extremely limited with regard to performance issues, but thats where I would start.
Let me know what you see.

Hello Sorry for late reply. all switches are on currennt firmware. Is see video ist starting normally but after a few seconds i see the video delays unitil it comes to complete halt. Fisrt thought it was broadcast storm prevention but its disabled in gui

Hi, it's possible that the 5448 switch is not able to handle the broadcast traffic as efficiently as the 6224. Just an idea, one thing you can try is to configure Quality of Service on the 5448 switch to prioritize the traffic for the broadcast stream.
