ONIE boot loop, autoboot ONIE, on a S4148F-ON No boot order change is available in the bios.

Exploring my S4148F-ON and now on restart it only boots into ONIE.  No boot menu is displayed just directly shows the ONIE menu. In other posts Dell recommends going to the bios and changing the boot order back to OS10-A but the bios  has no settings for boot order only date and time. How can I cancel the autoboot to ONIE and go back to autobooting to OS10?

Hi,

I'm unsure if the ONIE menu is corrupted, but if yes, you may need to reinstall ONIE.

I saw your previous post, stating you might want to contact support. So I'll leave it up to you if you would want to contact support.

If you need to try this alone, when you are in BIOS F2, are you able to see multiple tabs?

If yes, you can use the Tab key to navigate to the 2nd last tab which is the Boot menu. Check if you have Boot Option #1 selected as OS10. If the OS is not listed, then you will need to reinstall the OS. I'll attach 2 articles, 1 is for ONIE reinstall another is for OS reinstall.

If referring to the article, and you are facing issue, I will suggest contacting support.
