Hello @Atser_IT_Support,
What OS/Firmware are you running on the S4128F-ON?

Atser,
You can find the CLI steps to configure SNMP here.
Let me know how it goes, and if this helps.

I know this is a bit off-topic but how can I login to the web GUI? I set a password for the admin but it only works for the CLI. is there something I have setup on the switch to be able to login to the web GUI?

Hi @ChaseMixon,
Have you set up the management IP? https://dell.to/3NOsmcx

Yes sir. I can use putty to access the ip address of the switch, and configure it with that IP address, just when I try to use the web gui the username and password that I used in the CLI doesn't work "Invalid credentials"

ChaseMixon,
Would you confirm the OS on the S4128f-ONs, as well as what version of SNMP are you using/wanting to use for the traps?
Let us know

maybe it is best for me to abandon this thread, the OS is 10.5.0.4, and I have no interest in SNMP, I'm trying to figure out how to access the Web GUI for this switch...

Hi @ChaseMixon,
Just to confirm, have you tried the article Diego posted, configure a username and password for Web GUI?

Hey @ChaseMixon,
Well... honestly in my opinion there is no big advantage of using the GUI... only for low level tasks or small operations if you are starting working with switches. Normally, all the tasks you will need to do, you will do it using the CLI. So it's up to you if you consider to go further on this.
Regards.
