Real forwarding capacity / rate of the Dell™ PowerConnect™ 8132F
I have a question regarding the same model 8132F, what's the real forwarding capacity of the equipment? the data sheet mention that its up to 960Mpps but I think this is only real for the 8164F and the real capacity of the 32F is half what is reported, I mean 480Mpps.
Maybe someone can confirm this assumption, that's the way it is on other models:
Forwarding rate: 476Mpps (N4032 and N4032F) 952Mpps (N4064 and N4064F)
Thanks

Hi,
You are correct. This suggests that Dell may be listing the maximum forwarding rate for the entire 8100 series, not per model. So while the 8132F is technically capable of 960 Mpps under ideal conditions (e.g., with full port expansion and optimal packet sizes), its forwarding rate is likely closer to 480 Mpps, especially in base configurations.

Hi,
Apologies, but I don't understand your question. What do you mean by integrate it in all kinds of situations?
