2nd nic replacing

After replacing my second nic i have a problem.

The first nic is a 3Com 100 Mbps and is in use for my cable internet connection.

The second nic is a realtec 10 mbps and is in use for my home network.

This one is installed short after the installation of the cable modem and the home network has worked fine.

By replacing the realtec for a Sitecom 100mbps nic i loose my internet connection and can't configure the homenetwork.

The same happens when i replace the realtec for a 3com 100 mbps nic.

When replacing the realtec and a systemrepair (Windows  Me) evrything is working normal.

Is there someone who has an idea?
