4G wireless card...

Question

I was building an Alienware Laptop (M14X) and chose the wireless card Intel Advanced-N WIFI Link 6250 a/g/n 2*2 MIMO Technology with WIMAX ...(4G)... So I was wondering, can I also use this card on a 3G network? I live WAY outside any 4G area and the best I can get is wireless 3G. I also already have a ClearWire wireless plan so can I just add the laptop to the plan?

Regarding the card being 3G compatible...

According to Intel's site, yes, their WIMAX cards are backward compatible.

I have no idea about ClearWire....
