5160 wireless connection won't load sites

Help... all of a sudden when I try to access the internet I get The page cannot be displayed screen. The wireless network connection says I'm connected and the strength is excellent, but no web sites will load.Have had laptop for 9 months and this is a new problem. I have Norton Internet Security 2005, firewall and anti-virus are on but windows firewall is off. If I turn off NIS firewall I can access web, but am at risk. Why would this have happened?

Thanks for the quick reply. That's probably it, but I've compared all the NIS firewall configurations to another laptop that is able to access web and everything seems to be the same. Where else should I look?

More than likely an update from Symantec changed configuration.  Examine those carefully to allow traffic in from port 80.

What changed in the last couple of days to stop the connection?  Something obviously has.  Any updates installed?

Only NIS LiveUpdate and any Windows auto updates. Have not added any programs. I can use Windows firewall and access web, is that enough protection?

The NIS update changed something in your settings.
