While attempting to get a Linksys PSUS4 working with a Canon i950 USB printer, I asked Linksys Support for the list of printers tested with the PSUS4. The i960 wasn't on the list.
Here are the Dell printers on the PSUS4 supported list. You should check with Linksys Support for the WPS54G list.
Dell A940
Dell J740
Dell S 2500
I finally resolved the problem by replacing the Linksys print server with one from Silex, as described in
this note. It's worked flawlessly.
I don't think Pricom/Silex makes any wireless print servers, though.
I have an A960 AIO printer running on the Linksys PSUS4 and found that it does allow me to print to the printer over the network.........the only drawback is that i cant scan to other computers.......but thats not that important since the software dell gave me for the printer keeps crashing XP.
