Are you logged in as the ADMIN?

I am not sure but it can be a virus. But if you are not logged in as Administrator, try doing that cause your downloading rights may be an issue.

If you are having issues while installing the same, try to restart the system and press F8 on the Dell logo. Select Safe mode and there try to install that.

Need more details on how you are doing that. Have you checked in the device manager. If not, click on start-run and type 'devmgmt.msc' If there is anything with a yellow bang listed there, list that here!!

Cheers!!

I would like to say that it is not that easy to resolve these issues. Network issues can be mind bogging at times.

Here's what we need to do.  Reboot and hit F8 so you can logon as the Administrator with a blank password.  Now go to the Device manager and see what is going on with  the adpater.

If there is a yellow exclamation mark there we need to update the driver form the Drivers & Downloads section in the left hand pane.  Copy that file over to the C drive and run the program to install the driver.

Now go to the Control Panel and check the properties of all accounts and any that are not yours need to be removed from Administrator rights.  Make them normal user accounts.

Rest the password on your account and make sure you are an Administartor.  Reboot and log back onwith your account.  That should do it.

Listen, Lilly :-)
I will tell you a HUGE secret. Press the magic 3finger combination TWICE when you are at the "new and great" logon screen... and VOILA! magic trick, huh? :-)

If you have only one user account on the machine besides the Admin account that does not work.  Unless you have forced all users to use the ACD procudeure to logon which 99% of all home users do not.

If you want to resort to name calling...keep it up.
