Accessing secured sites

I can access wireless Internet, but not secured sites such as bank website, work e-mail and Yahoo! mail (presented with Page Cannot Be Displayed).

Suggestions?

You don't say how you are connecting, or with what OS, but here are some of the more generic reasons why this occurs...

1.  Firewalls (either hardware based like your router or software like windows firewall, blackice, etc) are not allowing SSL (port 443)

2.  Some Antivirus programs can act as firewalls as well and not allow connections.

3.  Your browser is not allowing "redirects" to the Secure site.  Try connecting to one of the sites you can't get to by using HTTPS instead of HTTP.  If this works, your browser is preventing your connection.

Thanks for suggestions.  Turns out the Internet security guy at my workplace is going to check-out the glitch.  NICE!
