Actiontec Wireless N USB Network Adapter

I got a new 8500 so I moved my old Dell 4600 to another room to connect to tv.
In 2003 I did not order the 4600 with wireless (why would I ever need wireless?).
I checked Centurylink ( my ISP) web page and bought a Actiontec Wireless N USB Network Adapter Model #: 802AIN Retail Catalog #: HUU15090-01, that they showed a picture of, for the 4600 with XP, cause Now I want it wireless:)

I updated and ran Avast, Malwarebytes, Disk Cleaner, CCleaner, Windows Free Registry Cleaner, Windows Update and went online to watch Hulu.
It all works fine.  Although the signal shows low.  26' and no doors closed.

Then I went to update and run Spybot the last program I usually use and while running it .....a blue screen full of white text popped up.  It said WLANUHN.sys was in the wrong file or something.  To shut down and retry and if it did it again to start in safe mode (which I've never done).....and that is where I went blank it was so intense instructions, I only saw ....if I don't it could ruin my computer.
I tried it and it did do it again.  I have to push the button to just shut it down when that happens and then when I turn it on again it has a popup that says there has been a critical error.  But it did recover.

I can use the internet, and run all the cleaners, I just can't run a Spybot check (I don't keep it running).

Is it just Spybot or am I really going to ruin my old pc if I don't fix it?

I hope I've covered everything.  What should I do?
My thanks, j

Hi jjsjjsjjs,

I would like to know if you are getting this error message only when you are run Spybot. If you are getting this Blue screen error message only while running Spybot, I suggest that you uninstall and reinstall Spybot.

You can also check by running any other antivirus software or contact Spybot.

Please revert for further assistance.
