Add desktop to wireless network

Want to add an upstairs Desktop (windows 98) to a WRT54G (802.11g) (Windows XP)located downstairs.

Would the USB adapter WUSB54G work as well as the PCI Adapter , WMP54G?  Appreciate pros and cons.

Thanks

i've found pci devices to be a bit more reliable to USB on older systems (and OSs).  either may work fine though

Either one should work. The USBS adapter has some advantage in that you can move it a bit, if necessary, to improve signal strength and you don't have to open the computer case to install it.

dang, forgot to add: USB 1 is NOT capable of 802.11g speeds

so if you don't have USB2 it's something to consider
