adding a wireless adapter to printer (962)

I have just  purchased a 962 printer with a wireless adapter. Now the story  thickens I have a wireless  network in my home and setting up the new wireless adapter for the printer really screwwed everything up really bad  

OK I am not real good about hooking up electronics and not seeing many asking for help on this subjects makes me think .What I need to know isn't very hard to do, but anyway I still hgaven't hooked up my wireless 330 printer adapter to function. I seem to follow all the necassary steps. Unfortunately I get no responce from the printer when I go to print. What am I doing wrong? The current state is I have set up and installed all software to the adapter and printer so how do I get a freash start? Thanks for your help on this Peter
