Adding apps to Venue 11 Pro?

Question

OK I'm trying to make friends with my Dell Venue 11 Pro, so I bought a Swann 410 Sec. Cam. Sys. because it said I could just plug it into my router and presto I would see it on my 11 Pro Tablet. But when I try to get the 'app' Swann DigiView I become very old and stupid. The instructions say just take a scan/pic of the icon with my table and presto it will be downloaded and installed to my Venue. But that is where the fog rolls in and I become senile. Can anyone help me or point me to a webpage that shows me how to use my venue in this matter. Its heck getting old. :-) Thanks in advance, Bill in Las Vegas

I can't believe this Venue 11 pro is the second table I've bought that doesn't do what I want it to do. To small for working on, guess I'll give it to the neighbor's kids to play with. :emotion-7:

I went to the google app store and they told me that a dell venue 11 can't download from their app store because it is not an android. So it is not an ipad either, is there any apps that work with this venue or do I have to pitch it in the same trash been beside the Amazon Fire???

Hi BPHATA,

As I mentioned in your other thread, the Dell Venue Pro 11 has Windows 8.1 on it, not android, nor iOS. You would need to go to the Windows App store to find, purchase, and download apps for that tablet. There are thousands of apps (both free and paid) for Windows 8.1 based tablets.
