After loading windows, screen is blank.
I have inspiron 1100. I installed Windows XP Professional and my screen size had shrinked, hence i was trying to change resolutions. I had changed something in properties and since then I am unable to see anything on screen. When i start my laptop only thing i can see is windows loading and after that its blank though i can hear sound. I am not sure about what changes i made, but from what i can recollect "Right click--Properties--Settings--Advanced--Monitor (may be in monitor i unchecked
on hide modes) or Adaptor.

start ur laptop before Windows launches, press F8.
On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you can press F8 when the boot menu appears.Use the arrow keys to highlight the appropriate safe mode option, and then press ENTER.
if u have acces to machine without any problem, u must reinstall drivers
u have antivirus installed in your machine ?
