Your question got me thinking; I thought the gigabit was the only Ethernet Controller because, well, it was the only one with "Ethernet Controller" in the name. I tried the drivers for the 10/100 one out and they are working perfectly.
I'm having the same issues with trying to download the ethernet controller. I downloaded both sets of drivers: 10/100 and gigabit. They both have not fixed the issue. The device mgr is still showing yellow ?'s for the ethernet controller.
Do you know what else I can do? (I heard possibly I have to first install the chipset drivers first..is this correct?)
