Annoying Work Off-line? Pop-up

Hello all,

Lately I have been receiving a very annoying pop up telling me that there is no current network connection available and would I like to work off-line.  Two choices available, "Work Offline" and "Try Again"".  Most of the time I only have to click the retry but once that occasionally I have to hit it two or three times.

I'm connected to the Internet via cable modem and a Linksys wireless router (to which I am connected by a cable), so I should ALWAYS be connected.

I would appreciate any ideas on why this happens and what I can do to correct it.
