Are you sure the wireless card is enabled in your BIOS?
If it is, and you continue to have trouble, then it may be that we need to look to make sure the antenna is connected and in place.
I'm pretty sure its enabled. I called Dell Support to have them help me fix my CD drive, and then the wireless mysteriously started working. I know they guided me through things like Registry Edit and msconfig and it fixed the CD drive, and suddenly the wireless started working again until I turned off the computer. Upon start up, the wireless couldn't obtain an IP address. :smileysad:
